Frederick C. Kleffel

Frederick Carl "Frog" Kleffel, Sr., 67, died April 23rd at 11:05 am in his residence at 18 Moser Lane, (Ontelaunee Township) Shoemakersville, Pa 19555.

He was the husband of Janet E. (Miller) Kleffel.

Born in Reading, he was a son of Arthur and Mabel (Gift) Kleffel.

He was a member of Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, Leesport.

Kleffel was an Army Veteran.

He was last employed 15 years at Carpenter Technology, Reading until his retirement in February 26, 1999.

Kleffel is also survived by two sons, Frederick C. Jr., husband of Ina R. (Snyder) Kleffel of Ontelaunee Township and Bradley A. husband of Nicoleen M. (Herman) Kleffel of Centre Township.

Other survivors include a brother, George of Leesport and a sister, Carolyn (Kleffel) Printz of Laureldale.

He is also survived by a grandson, Conner A. Kleffel of Centre Township.

Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Rev. John E. Houck officiating. Viewings Tuesday evening 6:30 - 8:00 pm and Wednesday 10:30 am until time of service. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the churches memorial fund at P.O. Box 221, Leesport, Pa 19533 or to Patient Care / Hospice, 420 North Park Road, Wyomissing, Pa 19610.
