Frederick L. Hawk

Frederick L. Hawk, 66, of West Reading, died April 19, 2012 in ManorCare West Reading.

Born in Reading, he was a son of Dorothy M. (Knause) Hawk, West Reading and the late George M. Hawk.

Fred worked in the environmental services department of The Reading Hospital and Medical Center for 43 years, retiring in 2011.

He was a member of Grace Bible Fellowship Church, Reading.

Fred enjoyed oil painting and listening to music.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his brother, Glenn E., husband of Shirley M. Hawk, West Reading and their three sons: Jonathan, Kevin and Matthew. He is also survived by his special friend and co-worker, Jose.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grace Bible Fellowship Church, 1128 Hampden Blvd., Reading PA, 19604.
