Frederick E. Clouser

Frederick Eugene "Yogi" Clouser, 82, of West Reading, died March 30, 2010 in Phoebe Berks Health Center, Wernersville.

Born July 18, 1927 in Wyomissing, he was a son of the late George Lester and Elizabeth Drake (Wolf) Clouser.

Frederick was a 1945 graduate of North Coventry High School, Chester County.

He was employed in the research lab at Carpenter Technology for 34 years.

Frederick served in the National Guard during the Korean Conflict.

He enjoyed listening to classical music and taking trips to the mountains with friends.

Surviving are brothers, Paul J. Clouser of Bernville and Franklin I. Clouser of Birdsboro and sisters, Bertha M. (Clouser) Greth of Laureldale and Carolyn L. (Clouser) Clements of Bernville.

Frederick was predeceased by brothers, Norman R. Clouser, George W. Clouser and Donald B. Clouser and sisters, Sarah G. (Clouser) Crossland and Kathryn E. (Clouser) Lape.

Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 7:00-8:30 in the funeral home. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading.
