Frederick William "Fritz" Bingaman, 80, of Laureldale died in Berks Heim, Bern Township on January 21, 2012.
He was the husband of Dorothy Evelyn (Deck) Bingaman whom he married May 3, 1952.
Born August 29, 1931 in his Reading residence, he was a son of the late Robert R. and Ellen M. (Shearer) Bingaman.
Fritz was a 1949 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.
He was employed 40 years as a truckdriver for Consolidated Freightways, retiring in 1991.
Fritz was a member of Grace Alsace United Church of Christ, Muhlenberg Township.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge #62 F.&A.M., West Reading; Reading Consistory; Rajah Temple A.A.O.N.M.S., Captain in Arab Patrol and a member of Legion of Honor.
Fritz was also a member and driver for Muhlenberg Ambulance Association.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by a daughter, Linda (Bingaman) Napieralski of Voorhees, NJ and two granddaughters, Lisa "Rutch" and Jennifer "Troubles".
Services will be Wedmesday at 3:00 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Spies-Zion Cemetery, Alsace Township.
