Fred Caccese

Fred Caccese, 78, of Wyomissing, died of natural causes March 19th at 4:30pm in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center where he had been since March 16th.

He was the husband of Ora E. (Pellicciotti) Caccese.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Dominic and Rose (LaVigna) Caccese.

Caccese was a graduate of the Wharton School of Business, Reading.

He was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

Caccese was an Navy Veteran of WWII and an Army Veteran of the Korean War.

He was employed 35 years as an Assitant Purchasing Manager at Glidden Paint, Reading, retiring in 1990.

Caccese is also survived by a brother, Carl Caccese of Reading and a sister, Virginia (Caccese) Fontana of Stowe, Montgomery County.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Doreen E. Caccese, who died August 24, 1996.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 am in St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic, 2810 St. Albans Drive, Sinking Spring, Pa 19608. Viewing Thursday 9:00 - 10:00am in the church. Entombment in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Muhlenberg Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Church's Memorial Fund at the above address. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
