Franklin Marshall Davis, Jr., “Frank,” age 84, of Reading, PA passed away at Tower Health on July 9, 2026.

Born on November 20, 1941, in Reading, PA, Frank was the son of the late Franklin M. Davis, Sr. and Catherine (Martin) Davis.

Frank is survived by his wife of 58 wonderful years, Patricia G. (Dmochowski) Davis and predeceased by his first wife Joann (Aiello) Davis.

Frank is survived by his son Christopher Davis (Trey Stone), his daughter Stephanie Woomer (Scott Woomer), his sister June Sloat, and his two grandchildren Rachel and Ryan Woomer.

Frank graduated from Muhlenberg High School and Penn State University as an Electrical Engineer. Most of his career was spent with Carpenter Technology Corporation, last as the Director of Engineering, Health and Safety and Environmental. Frank served many years on the Board of Directors for Threshold Rehabilitation Services. He also served on the Board of Penn State Berks Engineering and the Reading Public Museum.

Frank enjoyed many things in his life, especially time spent with his family. He was an avid reader and loved to play many sports including tennis, softball and ping pong. He enjoyed watching tennis and Penn State and Philadelphia Sports Teams. He kept very active with daily walks and travelling the world with Pat, as well as many adventures with his grandchildren.

Frank will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

Prayer Services will be Friday July 17, 2026, at 10:30 am at Gethsemane Chapel of St. George. Inurnment to follow at Gethsemane Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Threshold Rehabilitation Services, Inc., 1000 Lancaster Avenue, Reading, PA 19607. Kuhn Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.
