Frank Zizza, 83, formerly of Reading, died Aug. 28 at 3:35 p.m. in ManorCare Health Services Inc., West Reading, where he had been a resident since March 8, 2002.
He was the husband of Josephine E. (Hall) Zizza.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Alessandro and Antonia (Cerulli) Zizza.
Zizza was employed worked as a truck driver for Capozello Produce and ATV Bakery, Reading. He later worked for 10 years for the Reading School District, first as a bus driver and then as a security guard at the Reading Public Museum, retiring in 1985.
He was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading.
Zizza was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II.
He is also survived by a stepson, James Reever, Lancaster.
Other survivors include a brother, Genero, and two sisters, Concetta Zizza and Florence Zizza, all of Reading.
There are also three stepgrandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale.
