Frank H. Wanner

Frank H. Wanner, 65, of Windsor Township and formerly of Leesport, died August 23rd at 4:06 pm in the Emergency Room at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

He was the husband of Karen M. (Shollenberger) Wanner and predeceased by his first wife, Shirley R. (Anspach) Wanner who died December 25, 1997.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Frank W. and Esther K. (Kercher) Wanner.

He was a 1957 graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School.

Wanner worked for 30+ years at A.W.I., Robesonia, last working as a supervisor in inventory control and receiving.

He was later employed as an installer at Heffleger Kitchens, Leesport and last worked as a driver at Nelco Lumber, Hamburg before retiring in 1997.

Wanner is also survived by four daughters, Lori J. (Wanner) Noecker of Mohrsville, Karen L. (Wanner) Harmon of Winter Springs, Florida, Cynthia A. (Wanner) Fox of Bethlehem, Northampton County and Kathleen A. (Wanner) Kramer of Wyomissing.

Other survivors include two step-sons, Jeffrey W. Pflueger of Orwigsburg, Schuylkill County and Jerry W. Pflueger of St. Clair, Schuylkill County.

He is also survived by a brother, Ronald W. Wanner of Spring Township and a sister, Phyllis J. (Wanner) Cruz of Colorado Springs, Col.

There are also nine grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday at 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Rev. Robert McSurdy officiating. Viewing Saturday 9:00am until time of service. Burial will be in Epler's Church Cemetery, Bern Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Glad Tidings Missions, 1110 Snyder Road, West Lawn, Pa 19609.
