Frank R. Stacherski

Frank R. Stacherski, Sr, 85, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Reading Hospital.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Felix Stacherski and Jean (Ziolkowski) Albrecht. Frank was employed by Oritskie's Clothing Company as a fabric cutter, retiring after 44 years. He was always fond of the outdoors. From an early age, he enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting, especially deer hunting. He belonged to many social clubs including the Sinking Spring VFW, Sinking Spring Fire Company, Lincoln Park Fire Company, West Wyomissing Fire Company, the Quoiting Club, and Penn Wyn Club where he enjoyed having fun with friends and family.

Frank is survived by sister, Theodora "Teddy" Reed; long time sweetheart, Brenda Rolland; nieces, Valerie (Michael) Selig and Cynthia (Kevin) Snyder; nephew, Felix Stacherski; great nieces: Jennifer Stacherski, Ashley Selig and Rachel (Seth) Kaye; great nephew, Joseph Snyder; and two beloved Siamese cats, Lily and Lotus.

Frank was predeceased by his son, Frank Stacherski, Jr; brother, Felix Stacherski; and sister-in-law, Rose Stacherski.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Reading Hospital Emergency Department and especially the ICU doctors for all of their excellent care of Frank. It is greatly appreciated. Their kindness in communicating with the family went far beyond duty.
