Frank H. Oese

Frank H. Oese, Sr., 93, died on June 25th at 11:38 a.m. at the Wyomissing Nursing and Rehab Center, Reading.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Edward G. and Esther E. (Stepp) Oese.

His wife Clara (Celebucki) Oese died July 14, 1990.

He was a machinist for Berkshire Knitting Mills for 28 years. Later, he was a Letter carrier for the US Postal Service, Reading, for 20 years until his retirement in 1977.

Frank was a life-time member of the West Wyomissing Fire Company.

He was a World War II Navy Veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Frank H. Jr. of Fleetwood, and Steve M. of West Wyomissing, and one daughter, Carol A. (Oese) Crouse of Shenandoah, VA.

Other survivors include one sister Kathryn (Oese) Guenther of Chandler, AZ.

There are also 5 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters.

Services will be private. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Garden, Exeter Township. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
