Frank D. Kersikoski, 63, of Muhlenberg Twp., died September 6, 2010 in Reading Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Alfred Kersikoski and Catherine (Schweitzer) Fleischer.
He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in 1964.
Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving on the submarines: USS Skate and USS Cavalla.
He was first employed by the Reading Railroad; later he worked for NGK Metals, Muhlenberg Twp. for 21 years. He concluded his career at Glidden Paints, Reading.
Frank was an avid fisherman. He loved his sports, especially the Phillies, Eagles, Flyers and Penn State. Frank enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his three sons, John M., Reading, Christopher M., husband of Michelle (Winans), Sinking Spring, and Nicholas J., Birdsboro. There are two brothers, Andrew Kersikoski, Reading and John Fleischer, Trabuco Canyon, CA. Five grandchildren, John, Mathew, Joshua, Jack and Patrick also survive him.
Services will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Friends may call from 6 to 7 p.m. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
