Frank D. Calabria, 99, of Wyomissing, died in the Reading Hospital on April 17, 2011 where he was a patient since March 27. Born in Clearfield, PA, he was a son of the late Nicholas and Nancy Calabria. He was employed by Textile Machine Works until his retirement in 1974. Later he worked as a mail carrier for the Reading Hospital. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy C., wife of Michael Kostival, Reading, three grandchildren, Lynn, wife of David Griffith, Kathleen Kostival, and Ann Kostival, and six great grandchildren, Zachary, William, Nicholas, Camille, Joshua, and Veronica Griffith. Also surviving are two brothers, William of Mt. Penn and Philip of Wernersville, one sister, Rose Miller of Florida, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, and son, F. Allen. Also preceding him in death were brothers, Russell, Charles, Joseph, Anthony, Samuel, and a sister, Carmela. He was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading. Thank you to all our family, friends and many caregivers who helped to make his life a happy and memorable one. A Mass of Christian Burial, private for family members only, will be celebrated Monday, April 25, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Resurrection at Gethsemane Cemetery.
