Frank Carabello

Frank Carabello, 91, formerly of Clifton Avenue, died Nov. 13 in the Masonic Homes, Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, where he had resided since 1997.

His wife, Fannie (Ninetto) Carabello, died in June 1987.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Anthony and Josephine (Messina) Carabello.

Carabello was employed for 12 years as an electrician by the Reading School District, retiring in 1976.

He was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

Carabello was a life member of the Victor Emmanuel II Society, Reading.

Surviving are a son, Anthony, Kenhorst, and a daughter, Josephine (Carabello) Calnan, Mount Joy, Lancaster County.

Other survivors include three grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
