Francis X. Wolf

Francis Xavier Wolf, Jr., 73, of Spring Township, died January 27, 2012 in ManorCare Sinking Spring.

He was the husband of Joan Lana (Scheck) Wolf, whom he married September 5, 1959.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Francis X., Sr. and Helen Mae (Long) Wolf.

He was a 1956 graduate of Central Catholic High School.

Francis worked for over 40 years as a machinist for Rockwell International, retiring in 1999.

He was a member of St.Paul's R.C. Church, Reading.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three daughters: Brenda, wife of Pedro "Bob" Rivera, Muhlenberg Township; Lisa Wolf, Spring Township and Wendy VanEtten, Spring Township. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Nicholas, Nathaniel, Gabrielle, Matthew and Michael.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Paul's R.C. Church, 151 North 9th Street Reading. A viewing will be 9 to 10 a.m. in the church. Burial will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in Gethsemane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Berks County Special Olympics, P.O. Box 939, Reading, PA 19603-0939. Edward J.
