Francis B. "Frank" Stuber, 83 of Montrose Manor, died of natural causes December 13th at 9:00 a.m. in the Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since December 9th.
His wife Marie R. (Burkhart) Stuber died January 5, 2004.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late William B. and Elsie May (Strohl) Stuber.
He attended Mount Penn High School.
Stuber was a member of St. John's Baptist de LaSalle, Shillington.
He was an Army Veteran of WWII.
He was a lifetime member of the Adamstown VFW Post # 8795.
Stuber was employed for 35 years as a contract driver at Reading Eagle Co.,Reading, retiring in 1995.
He is also survived by two sons, Richard R. of Mertztown and Randall E. of Montrose Manor and three daughters Jane B. (Stuber) Baker of Floral City, Fl., Jill M. (Stuber) Gattone of Montrose Manor and Judy A. (Stuber) Werley of The Villages, Fl.
Other survivors include five grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will take place at the Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
