Francis J. Stoltz, 77, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018, at Manor Care in West Reading where he had been a patient since Friday.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie K. (Nester) Stoltz, of almost 40 years.
Born in Reading on December 18, 1940, he was the son of the late Carl Stoltz and Olga Yoder.
Frank was a 1958 graduate of Central Catholic High School. Frank was employed as a chemist in the R&D laboratory at Carpenter Technology, retiring in 2001 after 40 years of service. He enjoyed playing poker, going to the farmer's market, woodworking, gardening, and especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by four sons and two daughters: Mark S. Stoltz, husband of Susan; Thomas E. Stoltz, husband of Lissette; Helene M. Moreno; Stephen M. Stoltz; Sarah A. Kessler, wife of Shaun; and Joseph M. Stoltz, husband of Shannon.
He his also survived by nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Frank was predeceased by his son, Francis J. Stoltz Jr.
Internment will be private and at the convenience of the family, held by Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 5153 Kutztown Road, Temple.
