Francis J. Krupinski

Francis J. Krupinski, Sr.91, of Hamburg died September 23rd in Lehigh Valley Hospital –Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Angela B. (Wieczorek) Krupinski. Francis was born in Centralia and was the son of the late Stanley J. Krupinski, Sr. and Agatha (Sczepanick) Krupinski. He was a former member of St. Ignatius Church, Centralia, PA. He attended St. Ignatius School, Centralia and Conyngham Township High School, Aristes, PA. He was a member of the United Mine Workers, local # 1686, District # 2. He retired in 1984 from Conyngham Contracting where he was employed as a shovel operator. He is a member of St. Mary Church, Hamburg and its Holy Name Society. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Francis J. Krupinski, JR. and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Stephen, Charles, Joseph, John, Thomas, Stanley, JR., Edward and his sister Stella (Krupinski) Cichon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Mary Church, 94 Walnut Road, Hamburg at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 28th. A viewing will be held in church from 9:30 until 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg.
