Frances M. Sweitzer

Frances M. (Szodrowsky) Sweitzer, 80, formerly of 1050 Mulberry Street, Reading, died June 18th at 12:00 am in Beverly Manor, Exeter Township, where she had been since June 9, 2000.

She was the widow of Leon L. Sweitzer, who died in August 1970.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Michalak) Szodrowsky.

She worked as an order-puller for a number of years at Izod, Reading until her retirement in 1990.

Sweitzer was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

She is survived by a daughter, Marcia (Sweitzer) wife of Rev. William S. Higbee of Wyomissing.

Other survivors include a grandson, Brian D.Bingaman of Reading..

Graveside services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. Rev. William S. Higbee officiating. No public viewing. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 225 North Michigan Avenue, Suite 1700, Chicago, IL 60601. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
