Frances E. Sharp

Frances E. Sharp, 91, Leesport, formerly of West Reading, died Aug. 20 at 4 p.m. in Beverly Healthcare Reading, Exeter Township, where she had been a patient since June 26.

Her husband, W. Kenneth Sharp, died Sept. 17, 1991.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Hannah (Wertz) Focht.

Sharp had been employed for 10 years as a printer by Baldwin Brass, Reading, retiring in 1978.

She was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

Sharp is survived by a daughter, Mary H. (Sharp) Fangman, with whom she last resided.

There are also eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Patricia A. (Sharp) Prokopchak, in 1995.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 237 Franklin St., Reading, PA 19602. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
