Frances S. Rothenberger

Frances S. Rothenberger, 83, formerly of Fleetwood, passed away on Tuesday, February 1st in her Wyomissing residence.

Her husband, Harold L. Rothenberger passed away March 22, 1998.

Born in Oley, she was a daughter of the late William and Sarah (DeTurck) Seidel.

She was employed as a Sewing Machine Operator for many years at various local knitting mills until retiring in 1989.

She was a member of Zion (Spies) Evangelical Reformed Church, Alsace Township and she enjoyed Bingo, shopping and watching western movies.

She is survived by a Daughter: Carol A., wife of Harry Morgan, with whom she last resided. Also 2 Grandaughters: Tina Lyn and Jennifer Ann; 2 Grandsons: Steve and Shane Rothenberger and 4 Great Grandchildren.

Services will be held in Blankenbiller Funeral Home, 423 Main Street, Oley, on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at 2:00 pm. Friends and family may view on Sunday from 1;00-2:00 pm. Interment in Friedens Cemetery, Oley will be private. Contributions may be made to Carol Morgan, 855 N. Park Road, #L201, Wyomissing, Pa. 19610.
