Frances A. Moszczienski

Frances A. (Jeschke) Moszczienski, 103, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Rittenhouse Village of Muhlenberg. She was the widow of Joseph E. Moszczienski, with whom she shared 30 years of marriage before his passing in 1984.

Born in Birdsboro, Fran was a daughter of the late John and Lottie (Ziolkowski) Jeschke. After graduating Birdsboro High School (Class of 1938), she worked as a seamstress at the Berkshire Mills for several years before starting a career with Western Electric, where she worked until her retirement.

Fran enjoyed cultivating roses in her garden and was a fan of the New York Yankees. She loved spending time with her family, and was particularly fond of her "grand-dog" Snugs.

She is survived by her two children, Barbara (John) Endy of Muhlenberg and Joseph (Martha Rowe) Moszczienski of Florida; grandchildren: Debra and John "J.T., Jake" Endy, both of Muhlenberg, and Drew (Alysia) Moszczienski of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brothers: Edward, Joseph, John, and Chester Jeschke; and sisters: Sophie Miller, Elsie Keltz, Lottie Knott, and Clare Fidler.

A viewing will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Kuhn Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 5153 Kutztown Road Temple, PA, 19560. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Guardian Angels RC Church, 3125 Kutztown Road Reading, PA 19605. The family will receive friends and relatives at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Milmont.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Fran's memory may be made to the Special Olympics, 2158 Ave C, Suite 201, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
