Frances M. Emerich

Frances M. Emerich, 85, passed away, Thursday, November 12, 2020, in her Orwigsburg residence.

She was the beloved wife of the late Earl E. Emerich.

Born in West Brunswick Twp., Schuylkill County, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Faust and Helen (Long) Faust.

Frances was employed as a state worker at Hamburg Center for twelve years and was a member of AFSCME Chapter 13. She lived for her family and loved them fiercely. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting, playing Bingo, and attending all of her great-grandchildren's sporting events and activities. Her favorite pastime was shopping at Goodwill.

She is survived by, granddaughters Stacey (Yoder) Welker & husband Brad Welker, Melissa (Yoder) Miranda & husband Melvin Miranda, great-grandchildren Myles & Ava Miranda, and son-in-law Neil D. Yoder. Also, several brothers and a sister.

In addition to her husband, Frances was predeceased by her

daughter Jody L. (Emerich) Yoder and several brothers and a sister.

A private funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 18 at 1pm, at Schuylkill Memorial Park & Grabowski Funeral Home, Inc. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.burkeydriscoll.com.
