Frances Fleck

Frances Lea "Fran" Fleck, 65, of Douglass Township, died March 17, 2014 in Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.

She was the widow of William Fleck, her childhood sweetheart.

Born September 16, 1948 in Pottstown, she was a daughter of Josephine Metland Reid of Gilbertsville and the late Oliver Reid.

Fran was a 1966 graduate of Boyertown High School.

She was self-employed as an accountant/enrolled agent for over 30 years. She also was a part of The Bridge Inn, Pleasantville, for over 20 years.

Fran was a member of the Oley Valley Business Association.

She loved sewing.

Fran will be sadly missed by her three adored cats, Carly, Camille and Clooney.

Surviving is her son, Chad Smith of Boyertown; her two brothers, Oliver "Chip" Reid, Jr. of New Hanover Township and James Reid of Macungie; her sister, Kim Savino of Macungie and her five grandchildren, Zachariah Clayton Smith, Jacob Zedakiah Smith, Savannah Lee Smith, Sydney Chad Smith and Sophia Lillian Smith.

A viewing will be held Monday evening from 5-6, with a service following at 6 p.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 423 Main Street, Oley, PA 19547. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
