Frances E. Moser

Frances E. "Betty" Moser, 83, of the B'Nai B'Rith Apartments, formerly of Sage Avenue, Muhlenberg Township, died Jan. 9 at 6:40 p.m. in ManorCare Health Services Inc., West Reading, where she had been a patient two days.

Her husband, John S. Moser, died Sept. 27, 2002.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Damon and Frances E. (Folk) Diefenderfer.

Moser is survived by a son, Jack W., West Wyomissing, and a daughter, Joyce L. (Moser) Manwiller, Shoemakersville.

Other survivors include a sister, Elsie (Diefenderfer) Fucci, Reading; and two brothers, George Diefenderfer, Palm Desert, Calif., and Robert Diefenderfer, Henderson, Nev.

There are also three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale, is in charge of arrangements.
