Frances Dorothy Barth

Frances Dorothy (LeVan) Barth of Wyomissing passed away January 26, 2013 at the age of 98. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Albert C. Barth. She is survived by her sister, Ruth Gilbert of Reading. Also preceding her in death were her sisters, Anna Fedor, Emma Binckley, Amy Dorn and her brother, Russell LeVan, all of the Reading area. Frances was born in 1914 in Jacksonwald, to Sadie and Jacob LeVan. She is survived by her son, Richard Barth and wife Ruth, of Austin TX, and son, Donald Barth and wife Donna of Mt. Laurel NJ. Also her much loved grandchildren, Brian Barth and wife Brenda of Flower Mound TX, Brad Barth and wife Amy of Fountain Hills AZ, Jennifer Platt and husband Coley of Austin TX, Dana Bennsky and husband Matt of Alexandria VA, Dai Barth and wife Amanda of Glen Allen VA, Christopher Barth of South Carolina, Taylor Barth of Murray KY, and Cameron Barth of New Berlin WI, and nine great grandchildren.

Frances grew up in the Reading area and has been a long time member of Calvary United Methodist Church where she was an active volunteer for many years.

Frances has resided at Country Meadows and Berks Heim Nursing Home for the past several years.

A memorial service will be held March 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. in Calvary United Methodist Church in Wyomissing. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church, 831 North Wyomissing Blvd, Wyomissing, PA 19611. Edward J.
