Florianna A. Allushuski

Florianna A. (Gajewski) Allushuski, 90, of Pittboro, NC, died October 1, 2010 in Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC.

She was the wife of the late Anthony Albert Allushuski.

Born January 17, 1920 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Adam Vincent and Rose Julia (Kubacki) Gajewski.

Florianna was a 1937 graudate of Reading High School.

She was employed as a quality process checker with Western Electric Company, Muhlenberg Township for 24 years, retiring in 1979.

Florianna was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading.

She was also a member of West Lawn Women's Club, Telecommunications Pioneers - Western Electric, MU IOTA Sorority, Polish Women of America, and Lioness Club.

Surviving are three children: Greg, husband of Barbara Allushuski of Ann Arbor, MI; Antoinette Allushuski of Imperial, PA and Ronald, husband of Patricia Allushuski of Pittsboro, NC.

In addition, there are five grandchildren surviving.

Florianna was predeceased by three sisters, Julia, Wanda and Amanda and three brothers, Edward, Adam and Joseph.

Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Muhlenberg Township.
