Florence S. Yeager

Florence S. Yeager, 88 formerly of Windsor Township died May 17th in the Laurel Center, Tilden Township where she had resided the past 9 years. She was the widow of the late George J. Yeager who died January 22, 2002. Florence was born in Centre Township and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Katie (Rothermel) Moyer. She was a self employed lifelong farmer along with her late husband. Florence was a member of St. Luke's Church, Shoemakersville. Florence is survived by 4 daughters: Mary Lou wife of Robert Berger, Loyal, Wisconsin, Nancy wife of William Beissel, Centre Township, Doris wife of Gary Rissmiller, Reading, and Faye Luckenbill, Hamburg; 4 sons: Norman Yeager, Shoemakersville, Thomas husband of Sue Yeager, Sinking Spring, Richard husband of Amy Yeager, Shartlesville, and David husband of Hilda Yeager, Bernville, 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc. 40 S. 4th St., Hamburg. A viewing will be held on Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Zion's Cemetery, Perry Township.
