Florence Elizabeth Smith, 88 of Richmond Twp., died on February 25, 2008 at 7:42 a.m. in her residence.
She was the widow of Francis Henry Smith who died December 26, 1990.
Born June 16, 1919 in Reading, she was a daughter to the late Earl Benjamin Miller and Helen (Jones) Care.
Florence was a member of St. Paul's U.C.C., Fleetwood.
She was employed by Fleetwood Shirt Company as a sewing machine operator for 35 years, retiring in 1985.
Florence enjoyed reading and sewing.
Surviving are two children: Wanda Mae (Smith), wife of Dennis R. LaFaver, Sr. and Ralph Edward, Sr., husband of Vivan E. (DeLong) Smith, all of Richmond Township.
There are also four brothers: Ralph R. Miller of Clearwater, FL; Lester, George and Darius Care all of Douglassville and a sister, Sarah (Care) Ehling of Gilbertsville.
In addition there are four grandchildren: Denise M. LaFaver; Ralph E. Smith, Jr.; Dennis R. LaFaver, Jr. and Michael C. Smith; seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Florence was predeceased by a son Francis H. Smith, Jr; two sisters: Lorraine (Miller) Rauenzahn and Helen (Care) Mulholland and a grandson Christopher L. LaFaver.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in St. Paul's Union Cemetery, Fleetwood.
