Florence M. Bloch

Florence M. (Katzenmoyer) Bloch, 95, of Reading, died November 7, 2006 at 8:30 a.m., in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center, Hospice Unit where she had been a patient since October 25.

Her husband, Charles L. Bloch, Jr., died March 1977.

Born July 1, 1911 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Emily (Rissmiller) Katzenmoyer.

She was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church, Hyde Park.

Florence is survived by a daughter, Gloria A. (Bloch) widow of John Lombardo of Reading.

She is also survived by a sister, Mary (Katzenmoyer) widow of Robert Hullinger of Reading and a sister-in-law, Dorothy (Smith) Katzenmoyer of Spring Township.

Other survivors include two grandchildren, Lynn A. wife of Stephan Strunk of Pittsburgh and Michele A. wife of Gregory Cuppan of Salt Lake City, Utah and five great grandchildren, Megan A. Farr, Stephan P. Strunk, Jessica L. Strunk, Ashely L. Cuppan and Patrick J. Strunk.

Services will be Friday at 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale with the Rev. Mark E. Brophy officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to service.
