Florence S. Heisler

Florence S. Heisler, 94, of Wyomissing, died July 2, 2012 in her daughter, Karen's, Wyomissing residence.

Her husband, John A. Heisler, passed away September 11, 1976.

Born in Springfield, MA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude (Swartz) Schreiner.

She was a 1936 graduate of Shillington High School and a 1939 graduate of Reading Hospital School of Nursing.

Florence worked as a Registered Nurse for the Reading Hospital and Medical Center for 24 years, retiring in 1990.

She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, West Reading.

Florence is survived by her daughters: Karen H. Good, Wyomissing and Linda H., wife of James A. Love, Lansdale. Three grandchildren: Brian Good, husband of Erin Dean, Beaufort, SC; Dr. Kathleen M. Love, wife of Dr. Mark D. Johnson, San Diego, CA and Patrick J., husband of Jennifer Love, Wyomissing also survive her.

She was predeceased by her son, John E. Heisler, and her siblings Willard Schreiner and Thelma Johnson.

Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
