Florence M. Garszczynski

Florence M. Garszczynski, 88, of Colony Park, passed away November 18, 2012 in Berks Heim.

She was the wife of John F. Garszczynski, whom she married 66 years ago on February 9, 1946.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late George and Mary Amelia (Surowiec) Druzba.

She worked as a sales associate for Wanamaker's, Hecht's and Strawbridge and Clothier, retiring in 1994.

Florence was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola, R.C. Church, Whitfield.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Dr. Suzanne Marie Garszczynski, Lakeland, FL.

She was predeceased by her three siblings: Julie Strychaz, John Druzba and Irene Kemp.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 1 p.m. in St. Ignatius Loyola R.C. Church, 2810 St. Albans Dr., Sinking Spring, PA 19608. A visitation will be held 12 to 1 p.m. in the church. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Ignatius Loyola R.C. Church at the above address.
