Florence F. Gallagher

Florence F. Gallagher, 93, formerly of Pennside, died Dec. 26 at 11:17 a.m. in her residence in Reading.

Her husband, Michael V. Gallagher, died Aug. 7, 1982.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Waclaw and Rozalia (Sekulski) Ledzinski.

Gallagher was employed as a billing clerk by Vanity Fair, Reading, and was last employed for many years by Zipf's Candies, Reading, retiring in 1984.

She was a 1928 graduate of St. Peter's High School, Reading.

Gallagher was a member of St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Exeter Township.

Surviving are four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Michael D. Gallagher, in 1986.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 9 a.m. in St. Catharine of Siena Chapel, Mount Penn. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
