Florence M. Fosnocht

Florence M. (Monahan) Fosnocht, 97, of Shillington, died May 13, 2010 in Reading Hospital.

Her husband, M. Grant Fosnocht died in 1969.

Born in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of the late Michael F. and Mary J. (Kelly) Monahan.

She was a member of St. John Baptist de La Salle Roman Catholic Church, where she volunteered in the church office and was a member of the Primetimers and Holy Name Boosters.

Florence was also the secretary and treasurer of the Sodality of Mary at St. John Baptist de La Salle R.C. Church.

She is survived by two children, Dr. John M. Fosnocht, Harrisburg and Elizabeth A., wife of Thomas P. Dougherty, Wyomissing; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.

Florence was predeceased by a son, James Fosnocht, two daughters, Margaret A. Beam and Mary Jane Hallock and a granddaughter, Pamela Ann Fosnocht.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. John's Baptist de La Salle R.C. Church, 420 Holland St., Shillington, PA 19607. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
