Filomena Lucy (Ciarlone) Baloga, 86, died April 5, 2008 at 3:30 am in her Muhlenberg Township residence.
She was the widow of Andrew John Baloga Jr., who died May 23, 1957.
Born in Reading, PA, on November 30, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Jack Ciarlone and Minnie (D'Agostino) Ciarlone.
She was a 1939 graduate of Reading High School.
Filomena was a member of St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.
She was employed for over 40 years with David Crystal, Reading, retiring in 1984 as a machine operator.
Filomena is survived by her son; David M. Baloga fiancé of Lori Hafer and her children, Nathan A. Hafer and Dillon A. Hafer, with whom Filomena resided.
Other survivors include two siblings; Geraldine E. (Ciarlone) widow of Clemens C. Stacherski of West Wyomissing and Dolores (Ciarlone) wife of Charles Stafford of Wernersville.
She is also survived by three grandchildren; Michelle M. Baloga wife of Bryan Deemer; Andrew J. III, husband of Darlene Baloga and David M. Baloga II. and a step granddaughter, Lisa M. (Hagmayer) wife of Earl Kochel.
There are also three great grandchildren; Andrew IV, Emily, and Emmaline Baloga and four step great grandchildren; Hayley, Earl, Tristan and Makenna Kochel.
She was predeceased by three siblings; Casper A. Ciarlone, Irene M. (Ciarlone) Hill and Alfred E. Ciarlone.
Prayer Services will be held Thursday at 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, with the Rev. John Gibbons celebrating.
