Ferne D. Stephenson

Ferne D. Stephenson, 81 formerly of Hamburg died in Seton Manor, Orwigsburg where she had resided since 1/12/2009. She was the widow of David G. Stephenson who died August 1st, 2008. She was born in Pottsville and was the daughter of the late Walter J. and Florence L. (Matthews) Brown. Ferne was employed as the payroll clerk for 30 years for Hamburg Pattern Works, retiring in 1992. There are no immediate survivors. Services will be private and burial will be in St. Michaels Cemetery, Tilden Township. The Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc. Hamburg is in charge of arrangements.
