Fern M. Bonte

Fern M. (Shull) Bonte, 87, formerly of West Wyomissing, died February 14, 2009 in the Wyomissing Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Her husband, Richard O. Bonte, died November 25, 2003.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Florence (Moody) Shull.

Fern was employed for many years by Camp McGuiness.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara A. Dackweiler, Mechanicsburg; her brother, George Shull, Sinking Spring; and her five sisters, Florence Williamson, Reno, NV; Ruth Buchalter and Mary Stegeman both of Mohnton; Clara Wolfe, Reading and Janice Fischer, Oldsmar, FL. Three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive her.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services in the funeral home. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
