Fern J. Gressley

Fern J. Gressley, 80, of Earl Township, passed away in her residence on July 24, 2013.

She was married to Elvin L. Gressley, who died March 7, 2010.

Born in Pike Township, she was a daughter of the late Paul L. and Florence A. (Dahms) Mutter Sr.

She was employed as a supervisor at Mistee Lingerie for many years.

Fern was an avid bowler and sports enthusiast and also enjoyed sewing and reading. She was very devoted to her husband and family.

Fern is survived by her sons, Bruce E. Gressley, husband of Dorothy, and Dennis S. Gressley, both of Colebrookdale Township.

She is also survived by her sister, Frances P. Sheeler, New Berlinville.

Additional survivors include four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Fern was predeceased by her brother, Paul L. Mutter Jr. and a niece Connie Mutter.

Services will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in Blankenbiller Funeral Home, 423 Main St. Oley, PA 19547. A viewing will be held Monday from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9-10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Lobachsville Cemetery.
