Felix F Wylezik, Jr.

Felix F. "Phil" Wylezik, Jr., 86, of West Lawn passed away July 7,2021, at the Reading Hospital .

He was the husband of Constance M ( Rodgers) Wylezik; they were married on August 12, 1961.

Born in Chicago, IL, he was a son of the late Felix F. and Jenny (Knipper) Wylezik.

He is a 20 year veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving in Taiwan during the Korean Conflict.

Felix was employed as a facilities manager by GPU, Reading, and later in the same capacity for Utilities Employees Credit Union where he worked until his hospitalization.

Phil was a longtime and active member of St Mark's UCC, Reading, where he worked tirelessly to help his church community. Always looking to help others, Phil was a constant volunteer, notably serving on the Bern Township Lion's Club and was also a 50 year Mason.

Felix will be lovingly remembered by his children: Buddy L. Wylezik of Phoenix, AZ; Billy G. Wylezik (deceased); John R. ( Linda L.) Wylezik of Reading, Joseph H. (Kelly L.) Wylezik of Sinking Spring; and Amy E. (John W.) Groh of Sinking Spring. There are 15 beloved grandchildren: Kyle, Katie, Kayleaha, Sarah, Mackenzie, Tyler, Trevor, Aiden, McKenna, Billy-Scott, Philip, Amie, Buddy, Kathryn, and Joseph, and nine great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by one brother, Frederick F. Wylezik

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021, from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Saturday, August 14, 2021, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading, with services to begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Berks County Memorial Gardens.
