Felicita Velez

Felicita (Perez) Velez, 87, passed away on November 23, 2024 at the Reading Hospital. She was the widow of the late Jorge Velez.

Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Geraldo and Petra (Rivera) Perez. Felicita worked as a seamstress for Dolphin International until her retirement in 2009. She was an active member of St. Peter the Apostle Church in Reading. She will be remembered for her loving and caring personality.

Those left to treasure Felicita's memory are her children, George Velez, Jr, and Bernice Velez; her sister, Veba Perez; and her grandson, Evan Velez. She is predeceased by her siblings: Pedro Perez, Mery Martinez, Matilde Cordero, Ramona Perez, and Angela Perez.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 9: 30 a.m.at St Peter the Apostle Church, 322 S. 5th St, Reading, PA 19602, with burial at Gethsemane Cemetery to follow. A viewing will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home, West Reading.
