Fayne G. Hartman

Fayne G. Hartman, 86, of Bern Twp., passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016, in the Reading Hospital.

Her husband, John W. Hartman, died January 11, 2003; they were married on November 12, 1949.

Born in Leesport, she was the daughter of the late Eddie W. and Florence M. (Miller) Graeff.

Fayne was a 1947 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

She was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church, Reading.

Fayne loved reading, cooking, and baking--she was a homemaker extraordinaire! She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and nurturing grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by six children: Colleen, wife of John Hauser, Sinking Spring; Craig Hartman, Bern Twp.; Dean, husband of Darene Hartman, Sinking Spring; Andrea, wife of James Williams, Reading; BethAnn Hartman, Bern Twp.; and Margaret, wife of Allen Homan, Leesport. There are two sisters: Sara Moyer, Reading and Lois, wife of Harold Parzanese, Reading. Eight grandchildren: Dani Stefanik, Jennifer Williams, Alexander and Nicole Hauser, Jared Hartman, Zachary and Mackenzie Homan, and Lorenzo Ocasio Hartman survive her along with two great grandchildren: Avett and Griffin Stefanik.

Fayne was predeceased by four brothers: Roger, Charles, William (Russell), and Francis Graeff and one sister: June Guidotti.

Services will be held Friday, June 24, at 11 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Burial will follow in Laureldale Cemetery. Visitations will be Thursday, June 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday, June 24, from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
