Fanny M. Himmelberger

Fanny Martha (Fox) Himmelberger, 93, formerly of Laureldale, died November 4, 2007 at 5:50 am in Berks Heim, Bern Township, where she had been a patient since 2004.

She was the widow of George Herbert Himmelberger, Sr., who died May 30, 1970.

Born November 21, 1913 in Lancaster County, PA., she was a daughter of the late Wayne and Laura (Koch) Fox.

She was employed 17 years in the supply department with the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, until her retirement.

Fanny was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

She is survived by a daughter, Betty L. wife of William Bolich of Bethlehem and two sons, Barry P. husband of Patricia A. (Epler) Himmelberger of Laureldale and Donald L. Himmelberger of Leesport.

There are also seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter surviving.

She was predeceased by a son, George H. Himmelberger, Jr.

Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, with the Rev. Grant Wickert officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
