Evvie F. James

Evvie F. James, 93 of Mohrsville died October 29 th in the Reading Hospital. She was born in Sugar Hollow, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Frank S. and Ida V. (Via) James. Evvie was a 1943 graduate of Ontelaunee Vocational School. She worked for many years as a floor lady at Diener Knitting Mill and last worked as a hostess at the Kirbyville Inn for several years Her nieces, Cheryl Bressler, Susan Williamson, Donna Silk, Bonnie Fisher, Beth Ann Ernst, and nephew, Richard Kunsman, survive her.    Evvie spent a lot of time with and was especially close to her niece Richelle (Strausser) Rose and her children Breanna Snyder, Madison Rose and Jevin Kleeman who she spent her last moments with. She absolutely adored her great-great great niece and nephews, Paislee, Brantlee and Bentlee. Her sisters, Verna M. James, Louise Allen, Mattie Bender, Virginia Madeira, Thelma James, Gladys Ebling and a brother, Franks S. James, predeceased Evvie.
