Everett A. Keene

Everett Aubrey Keene, 82, of Robeson Township, died July 28, 2009 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

He was the husband of Bessie (Roumboula) Keene, whom he married in November of 1977.

Born in Christiana, Lancaster County on August 16, 1926, he was a son of the late Everett Keene and Rachel Mae (Stewart) Redcay.

He was a 1944 graduate of Kirkwood High School.

Everett was an Army veteran of WWII.

He is also survived by four children: Jerry D., husband of Ann Marie Keene of Manheim; Dawn Keene of Camp Hill; Robin Kimberly Keene of Robeson Township and Spiro B. Keene of Cumru Township.

Services will be Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. For online condolences, visit www.kuhnfuneralhome.com
