Evelyn Grace Thren

Evelyn Grace Thren, 93, formerly of Pennside, died March 16, 2014 in Berkshire Center, Exeter Township.

She was the wife of Vincent Francis Thren who died November 14, 1993.

Born December 13, 1920 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Emma Bertha (Bittle) Woodworth.

She was a member of St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Exeter Township.

Evelyn will be lovingly remembered by her seven children: Larry V., husband of Brenda V. Thren of Exeter Township; Ronald C., husband of Barbara A. Thren of Spring Township; Marcia L. Silfies of Spring Township; Donna M., wife of Gregory J. Albrecht of Lower Alsace Township; Gregory M., husband of Vicki L. Thren of Barto; Steven C., husband of Nancy T. Thren of Spring Township and Loris A., wife of Joseph D. Smith of Allentown.

Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Evelyn was predeceased by two brothers and a sister.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Catharine of Siena R.C. Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Exeter Township. Viewings will be held Tuesday evening from 6:30-8:00 in Edward J.Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading and Wednesday from 9-10, in church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
