Evelyn M. Seaman

Evelyn M. Seaman, 80, of Ruscombmanor Township, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2012 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center where she was a patient for a week.

She was the wife of Harold R. Seaman

Born in Oley, she was a daughter of the late Webster and Esther Sheetz.

She was a 1949 graduate of Oley Valley High School and was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Oley.

She worked for the former Lucent Technologies, Laureldale for many years until retiring.

Evelyn was active with the Oley Valley Community Fair Association and the various functions held on the fairgrounds. She also helped many years with the Oley Valley Community Association annual pot pie dinner.

Services will be held in Friedens United Church of Christ, 337 Main Street, Oley on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 5:00 pm. Intement in Friedens Cemetery, Oley will be private. Friends and family may view on Thursday from 4:00-5:00 pm in the church.

Blankenbiller Funeral Home, Oley is in charge of arrangements.
