Evelyn L. Salvatore

Evelyn L. Salvatore, 65, Cumru Township, died of natural causes Jan. 3 in Reading Hospital.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late John and Theresa (DiSei) Salvatore.

Salvatore was employed by the Reading School District and was last employed for more than 25 years as a public welfare administrator by the Berks County Board of Assistance, retiring in April 1999.

She was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

Salvatore was a 1958 graduate of Reading High School.

Surviving are a sister, Mary (Salvatore) Fuoco, Reading; and four brothers: Vincent Salvatore, with whom she resided; Joseph Salvatore, Exeter Township; Mario Salvatore, Pennside; and William Salvatore, Reiffton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:15 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
