Evelyn M. Livinghouse Moser

Evelyn Mae (Showers) Livinghouse Moser, 82, formerly of Laureldale and Centre Township, died November 27, 2008 in Berks Heim, Bern Township.

She was the wife of Richard Heber Moser also a resident of Berks Heim.

Born July 22, 1926 in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Elva F. (Mervine) Showers.

She was employed a number of years as a board girl by Parrish Stock Exchange, Reading and later worked in the snack bar at the 9th hole of the Berkshire Country Club, Bern Township.

Evelyn was last employed as a cashier with Dairyland, Muhlenberg Township before retiring.

She is survived by four children: Cheryl M. (Livinghouse), wife of Gene R. Freeman of Reading; Kenneth L., husband of Judy A. (Wentzel) Livinghouse of Shillington; Jeffrey A. Livinghouse of Shartelsville and R. Kevin Moser of Encino, CA.

Other survivors include a sister, Betty J. (Showers) Horstman of Muhlenberg Township; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Karen F. (Livinghouse) Smith, who died June 7, 2007; a brother, William Showers and two grandchildren.

Services will be held Tuesday at 10am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, with Chaplain Larry W. Mast officiating. Viewings will be held Monday 6:30 - 8:00 pm and Tuesday 9:30 - 10:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
