Evelyn M. Kaufman

Evelyn M. (Ziegenfuss) Kaufman, 79, formerly of Wyndcliff Apartments, Hamburg, died July 24th at 4:30am in Laurel Nursing Center, Hamburg where she had been since January 24th.

She was the widow of Herman F. Kaufman who died March 7, 1956.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Charles W. and Sadie E. (Dry) Ziegenfuss.

She worked as a Packer for the former Globe Mills, Inc., Leesport for a number of years.

Kaufman last worked for Georgio Mushrooms, Molltown before retiring in 1978.

She was a member of Becker's St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Molltown.

Kaufman is survived by a daughter, Florence J. (Kaufman) Youse of Virginville and two sons; Herman F. of Shoemakersville and James C. of Womelsdorf.

She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Services will be Monday 11:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Rev. Edward W. Cloughen officiating. Viewing Sunday evening 6:30 - 8:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will be in Becker's St. Peter's Cemetery, Molltown.
