Evelyn M. Hetherington

Evelyn M. Hetherington, 94, formerly of West Reading, and of Wyomissing, died January 16, 2007 in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient since January 5.

Her husband John J. Hetherington died April 10, 1981.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late James and Gertrude (Frezeman) Stout.

She was a member of St. Thomas United Church of Christ, Reading.

Mrs. Hetherington is survived by two daughters, Joan E. wife of Ronald W. Smith, Lincoln Park and Nancy A. wife of Stephen K. Erb, Absecon, NJ. Five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive her.

Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas U.C.C. 851 North 11th Street Reading. Burial will be private in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
