Evelyn C. Haynes

Evelyn C. Haynes,88, a resident of the Phoebe Berks Retirement Community in Wernersville, PA, passed away on July 17, 2023.

Born in Albany NY, one of three children, she was the daughter of the late Robert M. and Eleanor (Mullany) Conlen. Evelyn graduated from the College of Saint Rose in 1956 with a degree in Economics and was employed by the State of New York before marrying Frank Haynes.

Evelyn was an avid reader throughout her life and loved to watch all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren read and learn. Her love of learning was demonstrated through the gifts given at holidays and birthdays which were always unique and fun.

Evelyn is survived by her husband of 65 years Frank; three sons Christopher, Timothy (Elizabeth), Jason (Kendall Atterbury); three grandchildren Shannon (Melvin) Domigpe, Erin Haynes, Ian (Rachel) Haynes, two great grandchildren Liliana Domigpe, Jaden Domigpe and numerous nieces and nephews.
